This I Promise You is the new single by Ronan Keating. Over the last ten years Ronan has become one of the worlds most loved pop stars, selling millions of albums in the process. His new single This I Promise You, which is released on 11th December, is Ronan doing what he does best and shows there is more to him though than meets the eye. It sees Ronan fully establish himself as a songwriter in his own right. Already an award winning songwriter, This I Promise You is a classic Ronan track and demonstrates how he has grown not only as a performer but now also as a songwriter.
This I Promise You completes a trilogy of acoustic, melody-driven, emotionally fuelled ballads and is a natural continuation from two of Ronan’s biggest hits When You Say Nothing At All (1999) and If Tomorrow Never Comes (2002). Ronan set out to write the ultimate wedding song and the result is This I Promise You. Lyrically the song, originally titled ‘The Vow’, is about making a lifetime commitment and promise to the one that you love. It’s the third single to be taken from Ronan’s latest top-ten album Bring You Home, which was released in June this year.
