By accessing UKMusic.com you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. UKMusic.com reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and without any notice. All changes will be posted online. Your continued access and use of UKMusic.com will mean that you have agreed to be bound by the current terms and conditions of use as outlined below.

Description of Service
UKMusic.com provides users with access to a plethora of channels including various communications tools, forums, shopping services, search services and personalized content.  By using and accessing UKMusic.com you understand and agree that this service may include advertisements and that these advertisements are necessary for UKMusic.com to provide the service.  You also understand and agree that the service may include communiactions from UKMusic.com such as service announcements, administrative messages and the UKMusic.com Newsletter and that all of these communications are considered part of UKMusic.com membership.

UKMusic.com is a website with a huge online community and takes great pride in creating a friendly, constructive and welcoming environment. UKMusic.com reserve the right to prohibit users who abuse the site and its contents and to terminate any membership in the event that such abuse should occur.

Abuse includes illegal acts, profanity, foul language, pornography, spamming, racial, ethnic or gender based insults, personal discriminations or any other material deemed inappropriate, advertising or endorsing products or services without UKMusic.com's express permission, or attempting to collect or store personal information about users.

Your Registration Obligations
Signing up to UKMusic.com means you agree to the following:

1. To provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the service's registration form

2. To maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or UKMusic.com has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, UKMusic.com has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service (or any portion thereof).

Use of the Forums
Registration to UKMusic.com will enable users to access and post on the forums.  This service is free and may be cancelled at any time.  By accessing and using the forums on UKMusic.com you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use:

1. You will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of UKMusic.com reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

2. Profanity and foul language in the forums will not be tolerated.  UKMusic.com reserves the right to remove any un-called for language, issue a warning to the offender and/or ban users who abuse this or any other area of the website.  

3. There should be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.  UKMusic.com reserves the right to remove such posts, issue a warning to the offender and/or ban users who abuse this or any other area of the website. 

4. There should be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory.

5. Spamming is not permitted.  Posts promoting other websites or services will be removed and a warning issued to the offender.  If users continue to spam they will be banned.  Advertising in the forums for commercial-related or competing products are all explicitly forbidden except by explicit permission.  Posts of this nature will be removed immediately and a warning issued to the offender.

6. Pornography or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form or posted in the forums.  If this occurs UKMusic.com reserves the right to remove such posts, issue a warning to the offender and/or ban users who abuse this or any other area of the website. 

7. Users may not be abusive to moderators or argue a moderators decision publicly.  Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via private message.  If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to UKMusic.com management.  UKMusic.com management reserve the right to make or change any and/or all final decisions.  Management can be contacted at: This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .

8. Pictures may be posted in the forums as long as they are not explicit or offensive.

9. Signatures may contain images, but should be no bigger than 300 x 100 pixels.  468x60 pixel banners are also permitted (within reason).  If a signature image is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable UKMusic.com reserves the right to re-size or remove images.  Text in signatures should be no longer than 5 lines.

10. Post should appear in the correct forums. UKMusic.com reserves the right to check that topics are listed in the correct forums and to move incorrect listings to the correct forums. 

11. Any user who is not a moderator or part of UKMusic.com but attempts to present themselves as one by trying to exercise authority in the forums will be issued with a warning via private message and/or banned.

12. Any impersonation of a user within these forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a banning.

13. If users link to external content it is unacceptable to use link-thru systems to mask the originating URL.  Where this is found to be happening UKMusic.com reserves the right to edit or remove posts as appropriate.
