Hailing
from various parts of the world but forming in London, it’s Vega4 with their much delayed
follow up album to 2003’s Satellites.
Produced by Garrett ‘Jacknife’ Lee, whose credits include Snow Patrol
and U2, You & Others sees the four-piece take on the big boys of the indie
world.
The
songs definitely sound like they’re meant to be played in a ridiculously large
venue. Tearing Me Apart in particular is a track that soars while You sounds as
anthemic as anything or U2 can do.
Lyrically they speak from the heart with signer Johnny McDaid declaring
on recent single ‘I’m so sorry I’m not better at love’.
