With a varied unsettling tone blasting into your mind its hard not to see the opportunities orison for The Heavy. The band consists of four phenomenal musicians and vocalists, Swabby - Vocals, Taylor - Guitar, Dingly - Drums and Page - Bass.
From the sheer names of the band members “Swabby” and “Dingly” its clear this is not your average private school members release. “That Kind Of Man” from there album “Great Vengeance & Furious Fire” scheduled for release November 2007 demonstrates an edgy soul beat clashed and mixed with UK rawness demonstrating true lyrical individuality.
Swaby, the Vocalist has had reviews which consists of things such as “Now, I might be wrong, but I swear he sounds like Macy Grey” being familiarised with a already well known and worn out artist is probably not the best start to an aspiring career in the music industry, but honesty, who knows what will come of The Heavy, in my opinion a great band with unique vocal skills. Great music to be truly appreciated.
