Considering that this EP is the follow up to a debut single, it’s really promising stuff. The singing is of a high standard and the band play solidly. ‘Brittlesticks’ has a really infectious melody with some great harmonies and enjoyable riffs. ‘Heretic’ almost borrows from James Bond for its riff and the singing’s slightly more psychedelic whilst ‘Isabel’ implements some enjoyable acoustic guitar. Matters conclude with ‘Roll Down The Hill’, a sleepy and summery number with a really atmospheric edge as the track progresses. The currently being created debut album is defiantly going to be worth a listen on the basis of this.
