So, ’s gone where no reality TV contestant has gone before. He’s releasing a third album. Thankfully he’s also come a long way since his days of singing Westlife cast offs as this new record, Keep On, allows him to demonstrate. The reason why won that TV show that should not be name is because he came across as a genuinely likeable bloke who also happened to be able to sing. So it’s a little out of turn that on Switch It Off the first line he signs should be ‘I can see I’m a little unstable’. While it won’t have his audience wailing ‘No!’ it does indicate Will’s intention that this album should be a much more grown up and honest affair than his debut. The title track is another track that strays from the ballads that we normally associate with him. Happiness is an uplifting tune that has the best line ever to be sung by Will. The ballads haven’t been neglected though and All Time Love and Who Am I are some of the tracks worth a mention. There are a few that aren’t going to be convinced. While some of the songs seem out of the ordinary, it’d be pretty boring to keep sticking with a formula just because you know it works.
