So it’s been four year since five ladies of
varying fashion tastes were chosen to be the band of the people via the media
of reality television. They’ve glammed
up thanks to the help of many a stylist, and now it’s time for the obligatory
greatest hits collection which in this case is ingeniously titled, The
Sound Of Girls Aloud.
It’s easy to forget that under the fabulous
dresses and the big hair the girls know how to belt a tune or two. Sound Of The
Underground is still pretty damn funky, and Love Machine and Biology are
genuine classics and a lesson in how to write ace pop tunes.
