Not content with being awarded the title of the campest band around, they are now back and dominating the UK charts. ‘I don’t feel like dancing’ is a toe-tapping, head-nodding ode to disco. With definite inspiration from Leo Sayer and the Bee Gees and topped with knob twiddling from Elton John (on the piano of course).
However, not all is fine and dandy in the New Yorkers camp as they are finding it increasingly hard to get their music played in the US. On this occasion it seems to be their loss is our gain as everyone has gone Scissor Sister crazy. There is already evidence of a spandex revival – perish the thought.
This is a fine follow up to their 2004/2005 singles with it’s over the top production, cheesy lyrics, and widespread appeal. If you did not feel like dancing before, you will have a hard job stopping yourself when this is played. The sisters are dancing all the way to the bank!
