The term left-field begins to capture the essence of this track, but then fails at the first barrier. Catch a moment in time is a highly abstract track in which 's humorous rhymes are battling with a laid back acoustic guitar beat. Mix this with the almost haunting, yet raw vocals from Taylor Savvy and what you are left with is a catchy, and yet classy alternative pop track: Something like a cross between a spoken word streets track and a country classic.
With harmonious melodies that settle perfectly throughout this track, we are able to forget the gimmicks that are displayed on the cover sleeve and at his live shows (apparently a great deal of puppetry). Although I have never heard of before, I am now intrigued to know more. This is caused by the inability to label this track as anything but sophisticated pop that the music industry has been missing for so long. A warm welcome for please.
