Twenty-four year old singer songwriter gained valuable experience writing pop tunes for the likes for the likes of Liberty X and Rachel Stevens before carving out her own successful career as a solo artist. Her latest offering is ‘The game is won’ and is one of though huge soppy ballads, with inspirational messages that ladies with big voices like to sing.
Luckily, Silvas is able enough and reaches for those high notes, adding to the dramatic climax to the song. She’s accompanied by the piano and a quite few string instruments. The only slight problem with this single is that we’ve heard stuff like this before, and ‘The game is won’ adds nothing new to the big ballads genre. This is one definitely for all those divas in waiting singing in front of a mirror with their hairbrush.
