So desperate for a new album were the fans of the princess of pop they have been speculating for years about what Kylie would do next and, just so they would have something to talk about, labelled this much anticipated release 'X' . Well after a four year wait since her last studio album Kylie is back with her 10th album and what else was there for the marketeers to call it but 'X'.
Recorded in London, Stockholm and Ibiza it features 13 brand new tracks verging from Euro-pop to elctro-pop, via just about every other flavour of pop there is. To summarise in a word, it wouldn't be good, it wouldn't be bad it would just be Kylie.
Some have attacked its emotional detachment, others have praised its vitality and tightly honed production - she's always the ability to divide and 'X' is no different from other releases. She is no Madona but its not clear she ever wanted to be.
