When was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, the sound of the whole world kneeling down and praying for her return to good health could be heard. That’s how much loved she is, and if you’ve ever wondered what the big deal is, then check out her live DVD, which captured Kylie on her Showgirl tour.
Filmed at Earls Court back in May, the concert fans are treated to on this DVD is every bit as feathery, glittery and camp as expected from the singer whose comeback was thanks to a tiny pair of gold shorts. All the big hits like Locomotion, I Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and of course I Should Be So Lucky are here and performed with precision that we’ve all come to expect and Kylie obviously had a blast entertaining her fans. There’s also a twenty minute documentary, cunningly titled Behind The Feathers, where viewers can get a good glimpse at what is takes to put on a show that costs £5 million to stage.
