Being the offspring of folk legends Linda and Richard Thompson, it would seem that Teddy has already attracted an a curious audience. That wouldn't matter though as this was his moment in the spotlight and an opportunity to show what he was capable of.
Opening with Shine So Bright an easy going atmosphere was set for the rest of the evening. A guitar string broke at one point, but that was no problem as he distracted the audience with a cheesy song about breaking guitar strings. There was also a cover of Brother Can You Spare A Dime which sure would have sent a shiver down the spines of many. While it’s safe to say that Teddy is a talented musician and is obviously more than able as a singer, it was his humour and on stage banter that elevated the show.
