Ghetto Gospel

Another MC hailed from Plaistow blowing up in the world of GRIME! Upheld from Nasty Crew where mc’s like Kano and D Double E are from he was the hyped kid on the mic. When Kano left he left and sided with Kano and Demon, featuring on Kano tracks Mic check remix and Typical me. Clashed MC napper on Lord of the mics and Wiley at Dirty Canvas.
2006 he landed in The Movement consisting of North London MC’s Scorcher, Wretch 32, Mercston and Devlin. From his early days he has calmed down and this album has definitely showed, Ghetto Gospel has portrayed great maturity still sticking to his street roots but lyrically stepped the levels up.
Every few months it’s another mc taking over and at the moment Ghetto is the fav MC as he is very relatable to the streets more so the voice of the streets, as the likes of Asher D says Ghetto is wicked!
Production from crew member talented MC Scorcher, producer Merlin and Rapid from Ruff squad the man behind his debut single of the album Top 3 selected infectious beat with a head-bopping vibe.
Compacted with 21 tracks he talks about the street life to relationships to his state of mind. State of mind featuring his aunt Andrea Clarke piano melody expressing his life stresses as like track CPB. Cleverly thought out concept of C.P.B each has it own verse with what each initial means to him. Another deep tune on the album is Just don’t know where he expresses his opinion about death and that he is not scared of it another piano melody produced by Mr. Slash.
The layout has been carefully thought about with his hyped tracks in the start, middle his deep songs and towards the end a mixture of the above with relationships. U & me with his co-d’s Wretch 32 and Scorcher on a laid back rap beat about friendship. Favourite track of the album Touch the sky “Are ain’t R.Kelly but I believe I can fly” a mid-tempo skippy, semi rap beat.
Last track of the album is Top 3 selected remix with infamous MC Kano, the other movement members and Dirty goodz.
