Slim has been doing his thing since his debut ‘Blood Puddles' dropped in 2002 and caused a stir with it's anti- gun lyrical content. Since then we've seen various different sides to Slim in his subsequent singles ‘Party Wid Me' and recently ‘Look 2 Good' and the album takes this variety further. Slim's lyrics go deeper than your average rapper- his socially aware commentary on life on the street through his eyes covers many issues from politics, racial issues & violence, to more lighthearted partying, girlfriends and much much more. For an independent label release, this is a strong package with great artwork, and for the trainspotters among you the full lyrics are included. Highlights to check out include ‘London Life' and ‘Bad Mind'. Slim's videos are a main stay on Channel U, it's about time that he was given the mainstream recognition he deserves.
