Since he burst onto the scene in 2000 with his debut single County Grammar Nelly ha sold well over 20 million and collaborated with everyone from Biggie, Christina Aguilera and country crooner Tim McGraw. For his latest track, Grillz, he’s hooked up with uber producer Jermaine Dupri, and you’ll find it on Sweart/Suit album.
Sometimes hip hop should come with its own dictionary. For the sake of all that is good and sane what the blooming ‘eck does ‘Rob da jewelry store and tell em make me a grill mean’? And more importantly, does it warrant a whole song? At least you can jiggle about to it.
