Experimental and individual duo Gnarls Barkley release “Who Cares?” from their Grammy nominated album as a follow up to “Smiley Faces”. Like the other singles before them, “Who Cares?” demonstrates to those who are unaware that Gnarls Barkley are and continue to be the most exiting and unusual group around.
The haunting production from Danger Mouse contrasts perfectly with Cee-Lo’s powerful vocals and the lyrics are simple but extremely quotable (“It’s deep how you be so shallow”). Even though 2007 has barely started, “Crazy” continues to receive massive airplay and such a monster hit is hard for anyone to follow up but every single released further proves that they are no one hit wonder. A great track from arguably the album of 2006.
