Hot Stuff

Utilized from his fourth album ‘Trust Me’, which is set for release on November 12th, Craig David’s settled sound makes the debut single from his new CD a more-than-special offering. Special because it’s a comeback, special because he left without an explanation and finally, special because, well… he’s Craig David! And although many may argue that his contribution to the UK music panorama can go unnoticed, David has more than just ooh’s and aah’s to please us with.
Aside from a rather distasteful hair-do, he has passion, lyrics and a harmonious voice but most importantly, he has style! So a few years down the line, three albums and a successful hit with an underground emcee (Kano) later, what are we to expect from the new single, ‘Hot Stuff’? Well, it sounds more like a Grease soundtrack rather than a hip Craig David offering and you know what? I like it! It’s fresh, it’s clean but most importantly, it floats well with it’s light bass background. Overall, the ‘Hot Stuff’ conveys a message. Craig David is back and here to stay!
