With all the divas in the R n B market, it’s nice to see a new young man putting some much needed fear into the incredibly vain but disgustingly talented Usher. Chris Brown may only be 16 and from a town with a population of 2000, but he has all the attributes needed to make himself into a huge R n B star.
His first track was such a club anthem that you’d be forgiven in thinking that his next song could be nowhere near as good or as successful. Well, think again because this is about as perfect as it can get. Smooth melody mixed with a heavy beat, Brown’s vocals glide around the tune like the two were made for each other.
This doubles as a love song and a club banger thanks to its baseline and the subject matter. After the first listen you’ll find your self humming and eventually singing along because it’s infectious but never annoying. Chris Brown, I salute you.
