Best known for hits ‘Right Thurr’ and ‘One Call Away’, Chingys latest offering is a snap flavoured, bass heavy, hyped up party track. ‘Dem Jeans’ starts with a beat reminiscent of Dr Dre and Eminem’s ‘Guilty Conscience’ and pretty much stays that way. With production by Jermaine Dupri, the snap beat is poof Chingy’s trying keep with the style favoured by his southern peers. True to southern form, Chingy plays it safe lyrically by praising girls in tight jeans. Additional raps also added by Jermaine Dupri blend in and go unnoticed. A track presumably made for the clubs, but just transpires as three minutes of babble, sounding like a five minute money making job. Known for making club bangers, this could be one of Chingys more forgettable tunes.
