Whilst a first release from a new album is supposed to re-enter an artist into the publics’ consciousness, the follow up should sustain it. But when your first single is a fat, monster club anthem the second single is always gonna be on the losing side, I am of course referring to the follow up to the impossibly catchy and incredible "Touch It" by Busta Rhymes.
This single is much softer and accessible to a wider audience whereas "Touch It" was a rap anthem that we’ve needed for far too long. "I Love My Chick"
features Kelis and Will.i.am – of The Black Eyed Peas – who not only adds his vocals but produced it too.
The track is mellow yet the beat packs a punch so it’s easy to listen to anywhere, just add the vital formula of superstar producer and a hot female singer and it’s sure to be a hit. Not one of Busta’s best, but it will surely make way for the other gems on "The Big Bang".
