Although not as famous as some of his peers, Avant has actually been on the scene for a good five years now. This song is a pleasant slice of smooth R’n’B, featuring some slick production and silky vocals, with a top quality video thrown in for good measure. No doubt he borrows more than a little from Joe in terms of style and vocals, even sounding uncannily like the veteran at first. The guest appearance from Nicole Scherzinger (The Pussycat Doll who actually sings) seems somewhat pointless considering she only does one line, a line that anyone could have done at that. Despite this clever marketing ploy to capitalise on the rumours that they may be dating, the song stands up on it’s own, proving to be a grower and remaining fresh even after multiple listens.
