This double CD leads on from Pure Garage Classics with 42 dance floor fillers. Taking away the more upfront edge we are used to from the Pure Garage series, this album showcases the bumpy, soulful and melodic sound of the 4x4 beat. CD one is mixed by Pure Garage regular, DJ EZ, while CD 2 has been left to fellow producer and DJ, Todd Edwards. More than half the tracks Todd plays are his own, such as Shut The Door and Alabama Blues, giving me the feeling that this could also have sold as a Todd Edwards album - nevertheless Todd's style is a recognisable and well sought after sound and you get the best of it from this album. EZ has blown the cobwebs off the record box for his CD with stonkers I remember dancing to back in the 90s! Some real club classics and tracks from many moons ago such as RIP Groove and What You Do, as well as throwing in a few more recent 4 by 4 dance floor fillers - True and Hit ‘Em With a High to name but a few. A truly wonderful album - it hasn't come out of my stereo since I first put it in!
