recorded their debut album in Tom Gandey’s bedroom in the summer of 2004, already being touted as the next Mylo come Royksop back then, the band has come an incredibly long way since. After re-working the album for the live arena ’s travels have taken them everywhere form Glastonbury to FUJI Rock. Their sound has been transformed and Tom and his band wanted to put out something that represented that - they gave us ‘Golden Triangle’ an eclectronic (yes that is what I meant) mix of bouncy riffs and electronic slush pops.
For me this is the kind of tune that is reminiscent of the end of the night when the highs are running out and the time to brave the night-bus is fast approaching, yet its hypnotic bass line somehow manages to keep you bouncing. The list of artists that has been compared to is as long as it is diverse, and includes the likes of The Pet Shop Boys, T-rex and Clor. This is clearly a list that doesn’t need adding to suffice to say however that have been asked to support The Chemical Brothers on their December UK tour.
