The soundtrack from the film about the rise and fall of a Supremes like girl group (with Beyonce in the role of Diana Ross) offers some of the lovable sixties pop you’d hope for. Originally a Broadway musical, Dream Girls later on developed into a new breed of cinematic beast featuring an array of A-list celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx. It would have been simpler for most of Dreamgirls to be surface glitz; however, emotionally involving performances from the principles help such songs as "Listen" "Family," and "I Meant You No Harm" to move the story along even without the film in an almost generalized approach. Most of the tracks are very soothing and light pop (much like a Mary J Blige Album) and it’s also good to see Beyonce getting her Whiney Houston on! The presence of Jamie Foxx also makes for pleasurable hearing. The sounds of a Jazzy mixed-with-Soul type beats along with the various professional and romantic conflicts are impossible to miss. This all makes Dreamgirls a grand listening experience. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself dancing in front of your mirror with a comb minutes after pressing the play button.

Another great video from Evanescence. As though 'bring me back to life' wasn't as energetic enough, the gothic goddess blesses us with her very powerful voice!
