The Twang were a name on a few lips towards
the end of last year but the start of 2007 has seen that whisper become a roar.
Having ended the year by signing a record deal with B-Unique, the five lads
that NME have acclaimed as “Britain’s best new band”, have seen themselves
tipped across the board whilst a demo version of their debut “Wide Awake”
single has become a regular on daytime Radio One with it’s studio version due
for release on March 12th 2007.
Having spent the best part of four years
reaching this point, the band now take their “loose-limbed dance beats, echoing
guitar lines and…terrace rousing choruses” across the UK so everyone can see
what the (justifiable) fuss is about. Dates are as follows:
