 As
you may have noticed whilst walking down the high street, The Rakes' Alan
Donohoe is now the face of Fred Perry.
The singer
has been chosen as the face of the company's global campaign for 2007.
Richard
Martin (head of Marketing for Fred Perry worldwide) said:
"It
made sense to work with The Rakes as we know the band are big fans and wear our
product. I think they typify the spirit of Fred Perry... both never follow the
crowd and are distinctive in look and sound."
As
previously announced, The Rakes new single 'We Danced Together' is released on
the 12th of March
The band's
second album 'Ten New Messages' is released on the 19th of March.
The band
will be touring through the UK from the 19 - 31 March
