The Day Of The Triffids Is Coming |

 The Triffids continue their re-issue campaign on April 7th with three more releases.
Domino Records, home to the Artic Monkeys and Lightspeed Champ to name but a few, is set to put out two re-releases and an album of tracks recorded between ’83 and ’85 but didn’t quite make it onto other albums.
The re-releases are “The Black Swan” and Treeless Plain’, while the new offering is appropriately titled ’Beautiful Waste and Other Songs’. They follow a series of other re-issues and re-mastering on Domino since 2006.
As if twenty-five years in the music biz is not enough the five remaining members of the band have also been on the road again, or they performed at the Sydney Festival in their native Australia at least. And, Bleddyn Butcher is set to publish a book chronicling the careers of David McComb and The Triffids anytime now.
