Music fans attending this years’ festival are required to complete a registration form on the new site as well as attaching a photograph of themselves before returning the form before midnight on 28th February.
The photographic ID system was introduced in a bid to stop ticket touts, but even those who pre-register will still not be guaranteed a ticket, which will cost around £150.
Commenting on the new system, festival organiser Michael Eavis, said: "It's a much fairer system It means unscrupulous people won't be able to sell their tickets on for a profit. I assure you that your details will not be used for any other purpose."

Tickets will go on sale on 1st April 2007.
