James
Morrison will top off an incredible year with his third and arguably best
single, ‘The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore’ which will be released through Polydor
on December 18th.
‘The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore’ is a truly
beautiful ballad that’s actually ok to like, it’s an ode to that point in a
relationship where no matter what you try it just doesn’t seem to work anymore,
starting with a haunting murmur that builds to a powerful vocal crescendo.
2006 has been a heck of a year for the young
newcomer from Cornwall, with three sell out UK tours and half a million sales
of his debut album ‘Undiscovered’ which went straight to the top of the UK
chart and stayed there for two weeks. ‘Undiscovered’ has also already yielded
two Top Ten singles for James with ‘You Give Me Something’ reaching #5 and more
recently ‘Wonderful World’ which got to #8.
