Nelly Furtado Announces UK Dates For Get Loose Tour |

 Following the success of her third album Loose, Nelly Furtado will be stopping of in the UK as part of her ‘Get Loose World Tour’, playing five gigs in UK cities throughout February 2007.
The Canadian singer-song writer burst on to the scene in 2000 with debut album Whoa Nelly, which established her career with the chart hit ‘I’m Like a Bird’. Further hits followed, including ‘Powerless’ and ‘Turn off The Light’, which got an infectious remix by producer Timberland.
After a break from the music scene, Nelly picked up a gong at every major award ceremony this year including a MTV VMA, American Music Awards and a World Music Award.
With more help from Timberland, ‘Loose’ arguably churned out some Nelly’s best material to date, the sexy ‘Promiscuous’ and the thumping ‘Maneater’ which went to no.1 in the UK.
