MySpace Music Service Set For September Launch Print E-mail
Friday, 25 July 2008

Facebook!

The wait is almost over.  The long awaited MySpace music launch is due for September release according to MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe.

The service will allow users to pay for downloads as well as listen to free music streams. The venture currently has backing from three of the four major labels - Universal, Sony BMG and Warnber.

TechCrunch reports that the music store and listening service will allow unlimited streams of tracks for free.  As well as downloads, the paid service will let users buy ringtones, concert tickets and T-shirts, reports Fortune.
