 Motley is flying the flag for the North West’s “urban” scene yet again! After spending a week filming a video in New Zealand, Motley flew across to Australia to perform at Australia’s 1st and only Hip-Hop Festival Park jam where he was the only UK artist playing to the aussie
hip-hop masses! Motley made such an impact, that he ended up collaborating with some of Australia’s most well known rappers and produced tracks for various artists’ albums!
On his way back home on a brief stop at LAX airport, Motley was fortunate enough to meet up with Evidence (of Dilated Peoples) who he’d toured the UK with last year! Evidence was impressed with Motley’s skills, so much in-fact that he invited him to stop over for a couple of days and produced two tracks for Motley’s debut album “Separated At Birth”. Rumour has it that they’re gonna be doing a collaboration on one of the songs!
Motley has recently set up his own independent record label Stankin Ass Records with friend and fellow rapper/producer Kapulot. The small business, based in Oldham, North Manchester, will see the release of his album later this year, and hopes to release other quality UK artist in the future.
