I honestly feel sad when i think of this incident. One, because my heart goes out to all those people who loved all of these young boys involved and two because of the effects society has had on this individual. Yeah theres a great awareness of what he did was wrong but i feel more concerned that there was a young boy allowed to grow up into the person he was, and although everyone has their own mind, i am a conscious believer as a young black person myself, that society has a GREAT part to play in the way these so-called 'black boys' behave. The truth is i have love for them all regardless because i try to have that greater understanding of how influences such as marginalisation, frustration to make it and many other factors literally fuck some of them up! I see it, hear it, feel it EVERYDAY and it breaks my heart to see how the government sit back and watch as various societal systems they put in place such our UK dampened down version of the projects....council estates....such as the drug dealing and other systems designed to ultimately help us as black people to fail.

Sorry to go on and on,but put it this way...

You are a young beautifully-gifted black boy at primary school...what do u experience....you get told from young you are a delinquent simply because the teacher puts a stereotype on u...then u hit secondary school and because no one bothers to correct this negative label put on u from young, u think fuck it...i'll be bad...and wot happens?? Carl Dobson received a minimum prison sentence of 30 years. Grime will be long forgotten, and all grime music's fans will be parents, or, most likely, grandparents, by the time he is released.

I don't think that is something he has even considered, in his ruthless killing of a boy who 'disrespected' him.

Well, he's got plenty of time to reflect on that, as he goes through youth, middle age, and enters his elder years, before he's let out...
