After firm roots in London and a recent win in Manchester, radio station Xfm is applying for a new analogue radio licence in the North East.
If successful the indie station promises to deliver a mix of alternative music and comedy with 90% of content based on local programming.
To help support the bid, Xfm is broadcasting a dedicated North East version of its programming via digital radio and online. Xfm North East will be available for two weeks from 17th October.
