The nominations for this year's Sony Radio Academy Awards 2005 have been announced with around two thirds of nominations going to the BBC!
Xfm's Christian O'Connell is up against BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe and BBC London 94.9's Danny Baker.
Other nominations include 95.8 Capital FM's Johnny Vaughan for the Breakfast Show of the year and The Rishi Rich Project for Best Specialist Show on Kiss 100.
The winners of the Sony Radio Academy Awards 2005 will be announced at the ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 9th May 2005.
