Early retail reports suggest that new releases from Busted and Red Hot Chilli Peppers are giving Mike Skinner a run for his money in both the Singles and Albums Charts. Having topped both charts last week with 'Dry Your Eyes' and 'A Grand Don't Come For Free', Skinners' celebrations will be coming to an end as he is likely to get knocked off the top spot on both counts.
Busted are heading straight to number one in the Singles Chart with 'Thunderbirds Are Go!/3AM'. Their single has outsold The Street's 'Dry Your Eyes' by more than two copies to one! Another new entry looking to enter the top ten in this weeks Singles Chart is D12 with 'How Come'.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers' 'Live in Hyde Park' is looking set to top the Album Charts this Sunday, knocking The Streets' 'A Grand DOn't Come For Free' from the number one spot. Aside, from that the album chart remains largely unchanged.
