Heart Steals Capital's Crown |

 Radio listening figures released today confirm that Heart has won the on-going battle for the crown as Heart 106.2 takes the top spot from 95.8 Capital FM as London's number one station!
Heart showed significant growth having increased its share from 5.3% to 7% over the quarter whereas Capital' s share of listening fell 0.1 percentage over the same period. Magic 105.4FM remains close behind with a 6% share. All three stations increased their audience reach.
Despite being knocked off the top spot, DJ Johnny Vaughan's breakfast show proved to be a winning formula on 95.8 Capital FM attracting 108,000 more listeners than in the last quarter!
Other winners in London included Virgin London AM/FM and Jazz FM - both growing their share by 0.4% and 1.1% respectively. Kiss FM remained stable at 3.9%.
On a National scale BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 continue to grow audiences with 9.96 million and 13.33 million listeners respectively.
Losers included Radio 4 and National Station Classic FM, both loosing share and listeners.
