GCap's Capital 95.8FM regained it's crown as London's number one station after increasing its share of listening by 1.8% points period on period. The latest Rajar figures put the station ahead of Chrysalis' Heart 106.2, which despite making a surprise entry as London's top station in terms of listening share during the first quarter of the year, has now slipped to third place behind Magic 105.4. Kiss FM remains the fourth most listened to station in London, after seeing its share of the total listening time rise from 3.9 per cent to 5.1 per cent.
Johnny Vaughan's breakfast show on Capital 95.8 is streets ahead of its commercial rivals with more than one million weekly listeners. Vaughan replaced Tarrant in March last year.
