Final Fantasy X
Square's Final Fantasy series is one of the longest running, most prolific, most critically acclaimed lines of games ever. Final Fantasy X was one of the most anticipated games on the PS2 and with good reason. Not only did it elevate one of the most loved RPG franchises to a whole new level, it sold the world on the PlayStation 2. Final Fantasy X gave us better CG animation than the theaters at that time had, and an unforgettable gaming experience. And it’s still one of the best RPG’s on the PS2.
Final Fantasy X raised the bar with exciting beautiful looking turns based combat
The story of FF X with Tidus and his companions as they fight to save their world from the evil being Sin is backed by sharp presentation on the PS2 as well as a deep and enjoyable turns based combat system. While turns based, the combat is visually very impressive, with all of the magical pyrotechnics that we’re come to expect from the Final Fantasy series. The games strength also lies in its strong characterization; you come to care about each of the characters, something bolstered by the excellent voice work in the game. With the ability to summon powerful spirits, cast spells and fight with a myriad of characters, Final Fantasy X draws you into another world and holds you there.
Lead Tidus and his team on a deep, long lasting adventure
It may be aging but there’s a reason it set the standard for RPG’s on the Playstation.
If you haven’t played it you’re missing out on a classic.
