Nintendo GAMECUBE
Smash Brothers Melee
The gangs all here and ready to smash it up !
How could we not put a game featuring Mario at the top of this list? But it's not just him in this game.
Smash Bros Melee, like it’s predecessor on the N64 is an homage to all Nintendo’s premier mascots, pitting them against each other in extremely fast and furious multiplayer combat. Battle with most of the classic Nintendo character stable with 25 playable characters.
From mainstays like Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Pikachu Samus Metroid to older, beloved characters like Ice Climbers and Mr Game and Watch, each character looks great and has a unique set of fighting moves that suit them perfectly. Smash Brothers Melee is like a potted history of Nintendo games and the feelings of nostalgia you get from playing through are a major attraction.
The combat arenas are all modeled on a specific Nintendo games, and fans will immediately recognize them. From Super Mario inspired levels to F-Zero ones, most of the franchises are represented beautifully. The levels themselves add to game play as many of them change or move during the course of combat.

Four player mayhem rules !!!
Few things can match the frantic fun of a four player battle in Smash Brothers melee as you attempt to knock your oppenents off the stages by inflicting enough damage . Weapons, power ups and other toys randomly appear on each stage, making every battle totally different. Combat is fast and loose, which won't suit some hardcore fight fans, but once you've mastered the controls the results are impressive. Four player fun at it's finest and a must for any Nintendo fan.
