Weekly ICEMAN post

Welcome once agan to another episode of the weekly ICEMAN post For info on forth comings, reminders (old scoolish stuff), todz (all 4/4 massive), drum and bass, tribal beats, up and coming producers, down tempo broken beats and underground hip hop (I said underground hip hop. Though their pretty rair in the post). Keep it locked to the weekly ICEMAN post every Sunday. Been doing it since nine seven (9 7) and if garage is sinking im going down with it.

(monk) = written by monkey jazz
(ice) = written by iceman

1) Candy floss– search and destroy
Ooooohhh as we set it of with this one. This ones nice man no really nice it’s a very smooth jazzy kina bassline track. Wicked business. Not too sure on release info but you never no their might be promo’s around town not to sure. Wicked track. Catch people like my self hammering this track. With samples like:
“that’s how I choose to live”(monk)

2) come dancing – dub child (remix)
After just one big up from the weekly iceman post a few weeks back a lot of people have emailed me with questions like:

*when is this tune gonna come out? = very soon on London electricity

*Who made this? = London electricity but this mix is by dub child

*can I have a copy? = NO!! the weekly ICEMAN team are not a distribution service wait till the release date its not long

can I have a link of the tune? = Yeah sure but it’s the original drum and base mix

3) kool dubz – smooth groove
no release date as of yet but check this link out people this tune is wicked man. Nice mellow smooth jazzy track tune

4) hotflush - dry land
really feeling this track by the hot flush camp. Theirs definetly a broken beats influence in their. Good tune not too sure on a release date but that wont be too hard to find out. Out to El sid or paul still aint got the CD you said you was gonna send. (monk)

5) blue note – madlib
for all the people interested in underground hip hop check this out. if you wanna hear remixes of all the old jazz and blues track this is the album to buy. Its available in hmv to pickup. If your into jazz it’s worth a listen believe its nice. If you wander were people like Wesley jay got his samples for jazz music this ablum will explain where

6) Dwele – subject
Heres one for all the underground massive that view the weekly post in Philadelphia. Looks like people are starting to hear about dwelle now where people like my self and giles Peterson have known about him from the days of when he put his mix tapes out on the road in philly (back in 99). His album has been out for a while now available to but at hmv also (monk)

8) Digital mystics – pathways
Love the intro on this one absolute wicked track really feeling the tribal screams in this track. This should be out on big apple that means it’ll be apples forth release. Wicked tune (ice)
