Default UK Garage Buzz Chart 03.10.2002

THE UK GARAGE BUZZ CHART

1: (NE) Cream Cartel 'On It This Year' So Solid Beats
Megaman's 21 year old younger brother Inch High and his South London's cartels smash underground debut.

2: (NE) Sandy Rivera feat Haze 'Changes' (MJ Cole Remix) Defected
New 4 floor soulful vibes from the musical don, features a slamming dub mix

3: (DN2) Skibadee and Dirty Doogz 'Bun Them' Platinum Performers
New release from Skibadee's own label, collaborating with Dirty Doogz, big beats.

4: (-) Big$hot 'Stomp' Dubplate
Instrumental club monster from rising producer Big$hot.

5: (NE) Landslide Feat Alison Crockett 'It's Not Over' Hospital Records
Under-rated don producer Landslide features beautifully soulful vocals from Alison Crockett.

6: (-) Ginja 'Delboys' (Wiley Remix) BBC Records
Perhaps the worst idea for a record ever, but comedy value is what this is about, street cred given by the Wiley mix.

7: (DN1) Venon Crew 'Stomp' White Label
Former number one in the chart, big debut track from the North London crew.

8: (NE) Plan B Feat Sharky P, Sparks, and Champagne Bubblee 'Verbal Warning Vol 1' Acetate
UKG Veterans team up on the first installment from the Verbal series.

9: (DN5) Sticky 'Pacman' Social Circles
More basic beats and bass from Sticky, perfect for MC's.

10: (NE) Da Phuture 'Summer Vybes' Breakdown Production
Old School UKG, 4floor, vocal cuts, and bumpy beats, strong 4 track EP

ukmusic.com 2002. The UK Garage Buzz Chart is compiled by Doug Cooper @ ukmusic.com ( doug@ukmusic.com), and represents the 10 hottest tracks forthcoming in the UK Garage scene.

you can hear most of these tracks and many many more exclusives on the forthcoming deuce magazine cd (not the one out now) mixed by DJ Huckleberry Finn.

Large.

au natureul - the mj cole remix is wicked!!!!! uses the vocals to full effect - and its mj on a slightly slicker, deeper tip, bit more 4/floory. timeless tune as per usual from the coleman.

come ministry next friday and u can hear it to full effect!!

where (else) can I hear some of these tunes. It looks like theres even some uk garage in that chart (as opposed to drum-and-hop techno breaks).

Keen to find out what the MJ Cole one is. If he is going back to his 4/4 days, it shud be dutty. Not if he tries to incorporate 2002 into it tho...

Matlok was the name he used to release his own material before 'MJ Cole' around the days he was engineerin for Ramsey and Fen, if you like Matt's 4floor style, hunt these down they are classic & rare !
