Sidewinder would also like to thank everybody who attended and supported 'The Peoples Choice Awards 2004'. This year we received a amazing amount of votes, a 40% increase from the previous years Awards which clearly shows that the 'Peoples Choice Awards is being recognised as a very important and influential part of the yearly calendar and arguably the most influential Awards ceremony to be found in the UK. Each year 'You the People' use your power of democracy to vote for the artists you think have deservedly proven themselves over the past 12 months to be the very best in terms of technically ability both on the decks/stage and their ability to entertain and please 'YOU the People', Sidewinder defines this right of 'Peoples Choice as 'the power belongs to the nation's party people to elect who they want to perform and who they feel should receive a coveted Sidewinder Award'. Every year we have surprises as new talent breaks through the scene and receive recognition at the Awards which has proven to be very beneficial to both the artists and the UK Scene in it's entirety. Sidewinder use these powerful results as a very good indication as to the direction the scene is evolving.

Sidewinder 'Peoples Party' on both Friday 10th December 2004 and Part 2 on Boxing Day @ Empire, Milton Keynes will be another no expense spared gathering of the very best artists currently in the UK scene along with a selection of new fresh upfront talents. Sidewinder always maintains that it is very important to encourage and continually promote new talents in the scene.
