In my opinion, it would have been a good saturday night out, but not a New Years Eve. It was not as busy as I expected it 2 be, and most sets were a let down (I think as I was very very lean and drunk!!)
Here is how the sets went in my opinion:
9-9:30 DJ Switch - I didnt arrive in time, but it would have been tight mixing, and dub after dub.
9:30-10:00 Dusk Campbell - Not really my style, and MC Kie did nothing 2 make me leave the bar!!
I lost track of time here as I was drunk, but I think it was KC and Dazz next?
KC & Dazz Norman - In there home town on New Years Eve and they smashed it!! Perfect mix of old skool and vocals, with some wiley bits in there, some musical mob, they provided for everyone and got the whole place vibzin!! A pity Bedfords best mc's got kicked off the mic but didn't ruin the set!! Catch the Feelin? We did!!
Slimzee and Viper - Obviously Slim was gunna play a heavy set, but it seemed as though he played a heavy set from 3 months ago, I usually love Slimzee's set if hes got some Dizzieness on it, but Viper wasnt enough for me!
After that you had Martin Larner, Principal, and I carried on drinking and decided 2 leave just as EZ arrived (not for that reason!!) They needed an RnB dj in the line up somewhere?
Any1else go and could fill in the gaps for me?
