why is everybody talking of 'shake it' when meaning 'shake your body'? 'shake it' is a garage tune produced by mystery man (a.k.a. shy fx) and there was a t-power rmx on the flip of the ebony copy of 'shake your body'. but it isn't signed to a major and I don't think any D'n'B DJ every played it.

thought you all are able to understand English and know the difference of two titles. lol

And I don't think 'Shake Your Body' can ever be overplayed - tuuuuuuuuune!

The riff was a sample off a Brazilian cd or something. It's not Sex in the City as many people seem to think.

think you're wrong. 'shake it' and 'shake your body' has complete different vocals and complete different melodies - this are simply two different tunes with different titles.

As far as im aware, the white promos came out with Shake It written on them, altho the tune was actually called Shake ur body, so people started to get muddled up. It didnt help matters that Shy FX has released Shake It under his garage alias, using some of the same lyrics in the track.

yep decided to check up with sum heads and i was right for 20 minutes then it changed to being both right and wrong

apparently the first promos were titled shake it, but that was a mistake and the real tune should be called shake ur body
