Comments:
Morph seems to have been absent from the scene for quite a while now after having hits with tracks such as Saved Soul, Dreams and G.A.R.A.G.E not much was to be heard of him. But don’t be fooled into thinking Morph had packed up his studio and slammed it in the free ads he has been living and breathing studio in his absence to deliver some bombs for 2004. Morphs comeback release consists of 2 heavyweight tracks Fire Fly which was featured on DJ Slimzees mix CD on the Ministry of Sound: Street Beats Compilation and Boomshot which has been gaining support from the Forward heads such as Virus Syndicates Mark One. Fire Fly is my personal faveourite of the two it is made up of BIG hitting drums, eerie instrumentation, dancehall vocal samples and an absolutely filthy bassline. The track is very unique sounding as nearly all the components of the tune are original this rhythm is like no other track on road at the moment. Fire Fly just shows that music has no boundries and that UK Garages limits continue to be pushed to the extreme. Boomshot on the other hand is a fine example of Morph and his dark 4/4 beats a bounding 4/4 beat accompanied by a stomping bassline make this piece of plastic a must for fans of the darkside. Morph has been absent from the scene for sometime now like I mentioned before but he is definitely going to be making an impact on the scene this as he has bags of material to unleash this year. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! Check the audio:
