Kelis signed to new label?

Kelis is understood to have signed to The Neptunes' new Arista Records backed independent record label.

As previously reported, the production and artist duo (also known as NERD) set up their own label, Star Trak Entertainment, earlier this year.

But according to reports, Kelis, who has worked with them regularly since they hand-picked her to sing on ODB's 'Got Your Money' in 1999, has left her record company, Virgin, to join their imprint.

Kelis' second album, 'Wanderland' is yet to be released in the US.

Wanderland is an excellent album, as was Kaliedoscope. i hope she keeps going and this sounds like a smart move considering the recent shake ups at EMI.
