In your opinion, who is the most important in our Garage scene? Re-arrange this list.

Here are the list of important people in the Garage Industry (in alphabetical order). Put them in order of most important (1) to least important (7):

    DJ
    MC
    Night Club Owner
    Producer
    Promoter
    Raver
    Record Shop Owner

There are other people in the industry, but these are the main people that make our Garage industry work.

Put them in order of who you think is most important to least important on the list.

I have my own opinion, but I want to see what yours is first!!!

It will interesting as well if you put your reasons for putting it in the order you have.

i personaly feel that every single thing done buy anyone shape the furture of what we do see and hear so no one is to blame for a rise or fall in garage people just need to understand if they want change then make change coz no matter how small you may feel it is or whateva anything makes the whole bigger picture take shape

PRODUCERS (WOULD B NO MUSIC WITHOUT THEM!)
    DJ
    RAVERS
    PROMOTERS
    MC
    RECORD SHOPS
    CLUBS

U cant put these in order tho man! its i mean if there were no record shops stockin ukg there would b no dj's etc.....
u cant put any scene down to 1 thing, all these things work 2geather and could no work if 1 of them was not there!

the only thing i care about is if the music keeps pushing forward or not! in 2000 there were at least 10 new tracks i wanted each week! now its lucky if there is 1 a week i would buy!

    Here's my list:

    -PRODUCER (He MAKES Garage)
    -DJ (He PLAYS Garage)
    -RAVER (He EMPLOYS the promoter)
-NIGHT CLUB OWNER (He ALLOWS the promoter to put on events in his club)
-PROMOTER (He puts on the events that we go to)
-RECORD SHOP OWNER (He sells records to the DJ...but he is not high on the list because most big name DJs get free promos from the producer)
-MC (Crowd hyper, but last on the list because Garage COULD survive without them)

I approach music as a service industry, not as a product industry. Without listeners, producers are just masturbating.

    Good topic, Platinum.
