depends what you define breakbeat as. if your looking at breakbeat being the DJ deekline, freq nasty, dj mutiny type od breaks then that is nowhere near similar to dub step music TRUST ITS NOT.

i think where at the stage where every ones trying to jump on the band wagon with this is this sound and that sound. wiley claiming eski beats what the fuk is escki beats escki is not a sound its a series of tracks that use the same worn out bass

lets not start with sub low

I think the moderators, totally forgot about the genre of 'Dubstep', not in a bad way though, just one too many zoots.

Hello people, from sunny Goa. They don't play dubstep here, but I did go to an outdoor psychedelic trance rave last night that hadn't stopped when I left at 10 in the morning or something...

Should get a chance to introduce these hippies to the dubstep sound over the next few days. Watch this space.................................

I think you should of choose a different Mj Cole tune, because the one you chose sounds upto date, and can probably be played with Dubstep, because of the bass.

Let's not have the "what is UKG and what isn't" conversation again.

The forum subject is..... DUBSTEP and why it has NOT been giving it's own Forum...like garage, grime, breakbeatz etc.....has.!!

If people are not sure what sound is what. Then surely it is better to try and educate them ? I brought your record Distance.... It's not garage is it ? or would you say you make UKG ?

    HELL NO!!!!!!

Rockford do what you gotta do, write Missc or DC a PM see what happens. If there is a Grime section then there should definately be a DUBSTEP one.

Incidentally, I agree, Dubstep should have a forum. I just don't want to do the little "is [Dubstep/Grime/Breakstep/Forward/UK Bass] part of UKG, what are we going to call this new sound, what happened to the good old days, etc." anymore.

i dont know if it was such a good idea seperating all the forums in such a way... arent people just gonna post the same subjects on the grime as they are on the ukg... its not easy to catorgarise some artists so why bother and why cant we go back to just having one forum and we can see news on all forms of garage.

i cant be bothered flickin from one forum to the next... why have the other forums been split in the same way... ie the non music section...

i like the fact that you could chance upon a subject that you may not have done... read a thread title and think i might have something to say bout that... seperatin the forums doesnt let it mix like it did.

i think its all about differin opinion, so why group all the like minded people together... wheres the challenge.

Big up KODE 9 I'm really into your beats. Deep darkside.... who is the vocalist you use ? His voice is sick.

ICEMAN: Your weekly reviews are brilliant. I think there is enough Dubstep being made now you just have to know where to find it.

I totally hear you point sstutter.
